Headliners?

We have sailed Celebrity and Royal Caribbean previously and there

has always been a headliner, Mark Preston, Marty Allen, etc

Do they still have these or similar acts?

Yes they still have headliners of varying renown and ability. Some are very good, some are so so, but there are usually a variety of guest performers on every cruise to complement the production shows.:) Before our Connie TA I emailed the Captain's Club and they responded with a list of the entertainers who were scheduled to perform on our cruise.:)

In 22+ Celebrity cruises ,the only "name" act I ever saw was Tommy Tune on a Christmas cruise.

Headliners we've seen recently (although not on Celebrity) include Marty Allen, Charo, Mickey Dolenz (from the Monkees).

 

The best show I've seen on a ship was the Abba impersonation group on Freedom. You would have sworn they were the real group and you felt like you were at a real concert.
