Can you tell me by taxi approx. how far/cost it would be from Lahaini (cruise ship) to Queen Ka`ahumanu Center?

I just called Kapalua Taxi, and they advised me that the fare from Kana`apali to Kahului costs between $45 & $50. Lahaina will probably be a few $$$s less.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to go to Queen Kaahumanu Center from Lahaina? It's a mall, like any other ... has your typical Sears, Macy's. Most anything that you would need to get from there, you could get in Lahaina or nearby.
