Activities near tender dock???

We would like to know what is within walking distance from where we will get off the Celebrity Century tender on 3/25. Not interested in tour ... Just want some information about area near dock.

There are a few historic buildings, snorkelling opportunities, and plenty of shopping in the heart of our capital George Town. The city is home to our seat of government as well as many of the banks and other parts of our financial sector.

 

Things you won't find within easy walking distance include a sandy beach, the Turtle Farm, Stingray City, or Rum Point.

Eden Rock is a nice snorkel spot within walking distance of the port. :)

It depends on the age of your kids. We did this 3 years ago and we are going back with an 11 year old & 14 year old. Not a problem for them. If they are little, like 7 or younger, it might be a bit iffy. It is deep and there is no beach. So if you are interested in shallow water and a beach you would need to go somewhere else. The resturant there has great smoothies and food, so the kids would like the food there.

How far is the Eden Rock building with the apple on it from the Paradise Rest?

Does the Eden Rock building have a lounge chair sandy area like the Paradise Rest? Did you snorkle at both?
