Aug.7 landtour 4 days coral princess what to pack?

Know how to pack for a cruise but not the tour. Not sure if we walk alot or sitesee by train and bus.I want to stay under the pd limits and need the essentials.Kmow to pack lite raingear. Can shorts be worn at all?

Occasionally it is warm enough to wear shorts though I rarely do in Alaska.

 

You will get so many varied responses on what to pack that if you heeded everyone's advice, you would paying for excess luggage :D. Here are a couple of links to packing lists - it is definitely a pick and choose thing. But in any case, dressing in layers, good sturdy pair of shoes if you plan to do much walking or hiking, and rainwear are important.
