For those of you visiting Quebec this year as part of your cruise journey be sure to check out for activities relating to this year-long celebration. The old town Quebec City is a divine piece of history that you will fall in love with. And if you are planning a pre or post-cruise stay in the fall, get that hotel booked now... We love Chateau du Pierre on Rue st Genevieve but there are lots of little hotels in addition to the Chateau that are in the old city (where you definitely want to stay!).

Thank you Caroline for your post here. I have been driving myself mad trying to find something that I thought was really nice but not too expensive for our modest budget. I am glad to say that, thanks to you, I have been able to book this wonderful looking hotel for 2 nights prior to our October 1 cruise.
