auntdot Posted January 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2008 Last night on PBS there was a special about the restoration of the Parthenon. Their website has lots of very interesting information about the project that inserts lots of historical information as well! http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/parthenon/ Just thought all you researchers would like more information!! :) Dorothy
dboyleky Posted January 30, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2008 yes, it was a great program. Check your local PBS station's website -- it will probably be rebroadcast later in the week, in the wee hours. There was a tie-in to the cover article in the Feb 2008 Smithsonian mag. Go to the mag's website for a transcript.

roboref Posted February 5, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 5, 2008 Thanks. Looks like a lot of great information. It's almost bedtime for me, but I started to watch the webcast of the show provided on the website. Isn't the web wonderful?
