MOYSHA Posted February 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2008 We will be going on a cruise to Australia/NZ in the Fall. We will be needing a Visa. What is the easiest, least expensive way to get the Visa? One person told me the Visa costs $35, someone else said $20 and I'm getting confused. Thanks for your help
notentirelynormal Posted February 4, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2008 If you're on Princess they do the visa for you. I'm sure the other cruise lines do too. Before you double spend you should ask your TA, or the cruise line.
M&A Posted February 4, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2008 Yes, for US and Canadian citizens Princess will arrange the visa and it will be charged to your account. Just make sure a couple of weeks before the cruise to call Princess to confirm.
tomtal Posted February 4, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2008 We were on the Statendam and arranged our own electronic visas - very easy - www.immi.gov.au. Service charge of $20 per person.
Johanna7 Posted February 4, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2008 $20 Australian on line and quite easy. Make sure you have your passport in front of you when you do it online as they ask lots of questions about it. Such as when and where you applied for it, the date, the expiry date and so on. $20 UAS is about $19.00 US. That would be for each person. Better than the charge from Princess. Rare boards Posted February 5, 2008 #7 Share Posted February 5, 2008 We were on the Hal Statendam and our TA arranged the visa for us. I don't know what the cost was. It was never talked about.
