ATMs

We plan on using our credit card where ever possible on our trip to New Zealand and Australia but realize we'll need some local currency.

Does anyone know what the ATM charge is in those countries? Also, are there ATMs at the New Zealand airport?

Thanks!

There is a an ATM at the airport, but most taxis will also take credit cards anyway. Are you on the same flight as Sheila?

Regarding ATM fees - it depends on your bank. It will probably be about $2 per transaction plus currency exchange fee. It is still the cheapest and easist way to access local currency

We arrive about 7pm on a Sunday nite. Will we have any trouble getting AUS $$$ from an ATm when we arrive.
There are at least two ATMs in the international arrivals area of Sydney airport, in different places. (I had to look, the last time I arrived - I had managed to turn up there with only about $5 in cash on me!) So, no trouble.
