Sprucetree Posted February 14, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2008 I'm trying to find a hotel in Vancouver, but priceline.com doesn't say "Downtown Vancouver", which seems to be the preferred area. One of the choices is "Vancouver", but when I pull up the map, I don't know if that's downtown or not. Is there another name for "Downtown Vancouver"? c-to-sea Posted February 14, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2008 Just pulled up priceline.com and asked for Vancouver - choices given included 'Vancouver - downtown' with a link to a map. On the map, the downtown area is where most of the choices are clustered, below Stanley Park and the word Vancouver.
Putterdude Posted February 17, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2008 Yes, most of the hotels in Vancouver tend to be downtown unless you want to go out to the burbs. If you see names like the Weston Bayshore, Fairmont Vancouver, Crowne Plaza, Sutton Place, Hyatt Regency, The Wedgewood, the Waterfront Hotel then yes you are in the downtown Vancouver area.
