cb at sea Posted February 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2008 If you mean will they take more of your money for a better cabin, of course they will!
piercetc4 Posted February 15, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2008 if you are talking about the upsells like they do on ncl - no you can ask at the pier if there are any upgraded cabins available and for a fee you can upgrade there- some have said this is a discounted fee from reg price and others have said it will cost whatever the diff is between your current cabin and the one you wish to upgrade to- may be luck of the draw- every ship we have sailed on has been sold out according to the ppl at the pier..... wrp96 Posted February 15, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2008 Curious, what does NCL do? NCL will call people up and say we have X room available and we are willing to only charge you Y amount of dollars (significant discount than if you had originally booked it) if you want to move up to it. cruisePRN Posted February 15, 2008 #7 Share Posted February 15, 2008 ah, that is pretty nice though! It's nice for them because they extract extra dollars from you. More revenue per person because people think it's a deal to upgrade to a $2000 more expensive cabin for only $1000 (which they didn't want originally). Kinda smart if you think about it.
