Rare ORV Posted February 20, 2008 #28 Share Posted February 20, 2008 Back to matters at hand. When I was in St Thomas I was on a quest for some good rum. I bought 3 or 4 highly recommended brands (Mt Gay, Ron Barralito, Prussers etc) but the absolutely best rum I've ever had came from the A. H. Riise store and it is their private label brand. It is called A. H. Riise 6- 10 year old aged rum and comes in a generic bottle with a little straw sombrero. It was around $20 a bottle which is almost twice of what a lot of the other good rums are there but is worth every penny. If you like good rum you owe it to yourself to try this. Enjoy your cruise. FLACRUISER99 Posted February 21, 2008 #31 Share Posted February 21, 2008 St Thomas IS a US possession!! It is 1 L + 4 L, Ron I was correcting the statement about 1 Liter for Antigua and BarbudaEcuadorPanama ArubaEl SalvadorPeru BahamasGrenadaSaint Kitts and Nevis BarbadosGuatemalaSaint Lucia BelizeGuyanaSaint Vincent and the Grenadines BoliviaHaitiTrinidad and Tobago British Virgin IslandsHonduras ColombiaJamaica Costa RicaMontserratDominicaNetherlands AntillesDominican RepublicNicaragua You may include two liters of alcoholic beverages with this $800 exemption, as long as one of the liters was produced in one of the countries listed above (see section on Unaccompanied Purchases from Insular Possessions and Caribbean Basin or Andean Countries). Not the amount for St Thomas Please do not be so condescending I know St Thomas is a US Possession!!
