Amadeus Swiss Pearl

I am interested in receiving information about your experience aboard this ship. We are thinking of booking the Provence and Spain trip in September but are having difficulty finding much info on the Swiss Pearl. We would also welcome any comments about this particular tour along the Rhone.

:) ;)

4DBear,

There´s no need to worry. The SWISS PEARL is owned by Scylla Tours and partially chartered to Amadeus Waterways (which don´t have their own ships in France yet). Here´s some more information

The Scylla ships have a good reputation here in Germany.

We are taking the Provence/Spain trip in April on the Swiss Pearl. We sailed on Amadeus last year from Paris to Prague and were very happy with the service. As steamboats says, the ships are chartered and they are also used by Tauck which always offers a first-class experience.

I am a little concerned because we'll be on the first sailing in April and there may still be some kinks to be worked out on this new itinerary. I will certainly write a review when we return.
