Explorer--midnight buffets?

Could someone please tell me if they still have any midnight buffets on the Explorer which is currently sailing out of New Jersey. I am interested in the 12 night cruise. Thanks

I just returned from the last 12 night on Friday, yes they did have 2 buffets, both around 11:30 on the pool deck, sorry i don't remeber which nights but i'd guess night 5 & 8 i think, or so. No more gala buffet if that's what you were interested. I personally went to the first one with my family and friends, they ate, i didn't, enough food for me during the day and at dinner, they all said that they food was fine. They were handed small side plates to use, i guess they're trying to cut back on waste everywhere. Enjoy your cruise, i know that we did. Don't forget to dine at Portofino, it's well worth $20.00 p/p.

They will usually have some roving waiter's with trays of "munchies" late at night. The lounges and public areas seem to be where they roam. We do late seating, so actually EATING these goodies are beyond us, but they sure look good!
