Price drop question?

I am hoping someone can help a newbie to Carnival with an answer to this question. I am getting ready to book a cruise for June 7 on Holiday out of Mobile, AL, but I am hoping for the price to drop some. If it drops after the final payment at the beginning of April, will Carnival refund money or give OBC? I would be happy with either. I was planning on booking with Carnival online because their price is the same as other online companies? Any advice?

I would really appreciate it.

Yes and No....I got a Price Reduction after Final Payment about one month out...but then it dropped again with about a week to go and they said absolutly No!....But that is when they drop it to fill up the ship if it is not sold out.....

Usually you will receive a refund if price drops b/4 final payment & OBC if After final payment.

How do you know the price has dropped? We booked directly through Carnival the end of November for a 6/1/08 cruise. We are already getting a military discount. Just curious if there is anything more out there?

I check the sites, a couple of the online sites will show military pricing so you can check every day if you think the price has a chance of coming down. I know my cruises only seem to go up.

Since you booked directly with Carnival...Keep checking the Carnival website & if the price drops call your PVP.(keep in mind that since you rec'd the Military Discount you may or may not receive a lower price....But of course you should call anyway to find out.)
