Comfortable beds on the Pearl?

Leaving soon for the Pearl and wondering how comfortable the beds are. On Princess, I usually ask for an eggcrate. Will I be wanting one on the Pearl too? :confused:

We just got off the Pearl. The bed was very comfortable. We slept very soundly. Didn't need any embellishments!

That's one of the few things I liked about the Pearl. The beds. They were one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on at sea. Enjoy your sleep!

NCL beds are probably the most comfortable beds at sea. DW and I slept like babies on our last cruise.

Hi all , I read the bed comments and have a question,,,but first, my experience .

On the Carnival Dream with a balcony room we had a fairly comfortable bedd

 

Just got off the Royal Caribbean Monarch of the Sea, had an interior cabin. Two twins put together and the bed was horrible. Reminds me of sleeping on a futon . Didn't ask for egg crate either ( silly me).

So now the question,,,, does mattress "comfort" depend on room type. Like a balcony bed will be more comfortable than interior room. Not looking for firm I'm looking for somewhat soft... Any comments r appreciated,,, and I will be getting an interior on Norwegion Pearl

All regular beds on the Pearl are excellent! The pull out beds in the second bedroom in the to bedroom suites need an eggcrate or two, according to my sister.
