Amazing Rescue By Explorer Of The Seas!

that is one good thing about life on the water, ships who can help are suppose to, and do respond to others in distress,it shows we care, and will help if needed, just love stories like that, i used to be a commercial fisherman, and know what its like to be in distress, and what its like to help, great conradery:)))

The daughter of the distressed sailor wrote above that she was amazed that a cruise ship with thousands of passengers would help him. I'm not. I would be more amazed if they didn't. People that go to sea do that because we all know that someday it might be us on the receiving end of aid. When I was a kid in Sea Scouts, we learned the Sea Promise in which one of the promises is: "I promise to do my best to be prepared to render aid to those in need."
