Beach Breaks in Dominican Republic

Recommended Posts

Before you book an excursion to go to the beach, do a bit of research on your ports, and see if it's doable on your own! Most beaches are better if "self done"! Get a book on the Caribbean ports and it will tell you about transportation, facilities, food, drink, rentals....

Unless there are long distances or multiple transportation modes involved, you can have your beach day cheaper, and on your own schedule, by going on your own!

i just read on someones recent explorer review that in the dominican republic they purchased a day pass for ($45) at an iberostar resort and they raved about it. you got full use of all facilities. plus they said that the rc beach break was at a beach close by and people were complaining about lack of facilities. if i find the link i'll post it because it was full of great info.
