Seven Ships In Port !!!!

O.K. We are 1st time cruisers and I have been all over these boards for the last few weeks learning stuff. I discovered "cruise calendar" and was mortified when I saw 7 ships in port while we are trying to see Grand Cayman. We are only in port from 7 to 2. The plan was to shore snorkel on our own and walk around the shops for a little while before returning to the ship. Will this still work? Any other ideas besides staying on the ship???

You'll be fine if that's your plan. The stores might be a little crowded, but you'll still have a good time.

You are OK if the vessels dock in George Town, just allow a good hour to get back on board.

If the weather is bad, as it has been the past couple of days, and you end up moored off Spotts I would stay on board. You might have no trouble getting into George Town but, if the traffic starts to back up, it's a long ride back to the dock.

Incidentally, the government were supposed to have capped cruise arrivals at 6 per day.
