gertz Posted March 10, 2008 #26 Share Posted March 10, 2008 We love the Sterling or the Desert Rose We think they compare very favorable with Morton's or RC's. Youngest son his wife, DW, and I ate there 2/23/08. Great steaks and the shrimp cocktail WOW, son had salmond also v good. Service outstanding. We did Sabatini's on the 29th also very good and excellent service. Dining room very good too. So was pizza, hamburgers, HC. Must be, we are easy to please. We don't think so, we think we are blessed. Interesting how people on the same cruise will have totally different opinions on food, service and even on the whole cruise. Check out some of the ship reviews. You find a horrible review and on either side of it great reviews. We started with Princess in 1991 (Crown) and can say we have never had a bad cruise. Some better than others. Jack & Nora Elite Next Tahitian Princess 9/
dog Posted March 11, 2008 #27 Share Posted March 11, 2008 I'm talking about the lobster in the traditional dining on the second formal night. Mine did look a lot different than the others at my table. You get to expect something when you've experienced it on other Princess ships and this evening's meal did not compare. It was a disappointment. The rest of the meals in TD were good, but we are ready for a new menu. When you sail Princess once or twice a year some variety is needed. IMO. I see someone is going on the Tahitian Princess. This is our favorite Princess ship. You will love this cruise.
