Chilakoot dogs vs. cruiseline mucher camp

We are doing southbound Coral Princess on 6/2 and one of our party has the dogs on his must-do list. We are not going to take any flights so it will be dogs on dirt. One of the Chilakoot trips has some time at a dog camp in Skagway with an optional kart ride. In Juneau, Princess has a musher camp but we dont have enough time in port to do the Captain Larry whale watch and musher camp. Is the Chilakoot dog thing good enough for the must-do list or will it just wet his appetite and cause regret that we didnt do more of it?

Don't know about the Chilkoot one, but we did the Princess Musher Camp in Juneau .... highlight of the trip!

Did you do any whale watching in Juneau? We want to do the Captain Larry thing and it doesnt jive timewise with the princess mucher camp.
