Zip Line on your own

Does anyone know where the zip line base area is located in Barbados

and the name of it?

Can you take a taxi there? ===> Yes.

We want to plan the day to tour on our own.

It's near the bottom of AYSHFORD HILL

- a popular very-straight road where the street racers gather!!

just beyond Hopewell Pltn, St.Thomas

The zipline runs over JACK-IN-THE-BOX GULLY

and you'll access it via the Hopewell end of the Jack-in-the-Box Gully road...tell your driver.

It's on the road to Welchman Hall Gully and Harrison's Caves

(not far from W.Hall Gully) - you'll get to the zip line area

about a mile or two before W.Hall Gully and the Caves

which are higher up.

Yes, you could get a taxi there, as long as he knows where he's going

-if you describe it as outlined above, your driver should recognize the area.

We've reserved a van to rent for the day because we want to do the zip line and the caves. I've found a page on the internet with directions to the zip line that starts at Warrens Roundabout in Everton Weeks but can't find Everton Weeks on a map. Can anyone tell me how to get from the cruise terminal in Bridgetown to Warrens Roundabout in Everton Weeks, then to Harrison's cave from there?

Thanks,

The web site is aerialtrek.com. I started looking at this a few weeks ago and the website had some good information. Now it just says "New website coming" and gives contact numbers. There is a facebook page with some information and comments. I just found that by gooogling. If anyone has any other insight, I would be interested. I would love to do this but would like to do what I can to keep the price down.

give me directions from the cruise ship terminal to the zip-line and then from there to Harrison's Cave? I have a Van reserved for us to drive ourselves but I don't know how good of a map they will provide. Don't want to get lost.

Thank you, we leave Sunday. (can't wait)
