A.) It was BEAUTIFUL and bc we were with a tour and only had an hour or so there, we all wished we had just gone there straight away and stayed all day.

B.) the food was great. I had the conch fritters and a strawberry daiquiri (there were about 4 or 5 golfball sized fritters, and they came with about a cup of lettuce salad).

C.) Said meal, last year, cost about $20 US

D.) there are some freaky birds there, in the eating area, that aren't afraid of humans (bc people have been feeding them for years, I'm sure....kind of like the famous stingrays) and swoop in to try to snatch what they can. I'd recommend eating inside, LOL.

E.) There are a few stingrays that hang out under the long pier. Keep an eye out for them. They aren't shy either, and without someone who's used to them acting as a buffer (like the guides on the stingray tours), it's kinda freaky, LOL.

F.) the snorkeling off the pier there is great.

G.) Bring your cash, LOL.;)

Do you have any photos of your day there? Also, the last comment was "bring cash" what's that all about?

Was in reference to the fact that EVERYTHING in GC costs noticeably more than any other port I've ever been to.

Lots of pics from Rum Point in my Triumph/2007 album, link in my signature below. If you have any more questions, I'd be happy to answer them.
