AC/DC Convertor Onshore

I'm do to be in the Middle East a few days where I am told they have 220 DC. How does that impact my electrical equipment such as chargers for cameras and razors or computors? Is there something I need to buy? I know I do not need it onboard ship.

You will need an adapter for your plugs to match the outlets in the area you are going to. If I recall correcetly it is the same as most of Europe which is the one with 2 round plugs.

 

Most electronic equipment now a days will automatically adapt to 220 volt,- but check your manual or check your charges first.

 

Plug adapters as well as converters can be found in luggage stores, Radio Shack, many department stores and more.
