CynScotland Posted March 16, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2008 We leave May 5th out of Athens for 12 days. We have 2 at sea days. What are these days like on SS? I have booked a couple of spa treatements for the 1st at sea day but the 2nd at sea day doesn't show anything available at all. Also does anyone know why the spa booking online is so limited? The brochure has numerous treatments that aren't available to be booked online. TIA!
meow! Posted March 16, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2008 You don't have to worry about two sea days. There will be a "bridge" tour (where they control the ship), a galley bruch (you get inside the kitchen), perhaps even a poolside barbeque buffet (weather permitting), a lecture in the afternoon, some entertainment after dinner, Venetian Club cocktail and captain's farewell party. All these to be spread over the voyage, particularly on sea days. Then walk around the ship and discover all the various facilities. We had eight sea days for our Panama Canal voyage, and wished we could stay longer!
yogagal47 Posted March 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Don't forget: Wine tastings, volley ball in the pool, doing laps around the deck and countless other things like getting a suntan while reading a good book! Have a great time on your cruise!
Jus Cruzin' Posted March 20, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2008 We did the Western Mediterranean in May and were able to not only book spa treatments on board, but also land tours after we boarded. Online it showed that those things were sold out, but they are very accomodating and we loved our time. There is also a small workout room and it was a little too windy and cold due to the Mistral (a strong north wind) to stay on deck, but there are DVD players in every cabin and you can either rent or bring your own. RELAX! ENJOY! Don't stress! Remember, all your beverages are included. That would make anyone happy!:D
