Marysunshine Posted March 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Hi: We are a family of 12 booked on AOS. We are going during Thanksgiving week and I'm hoping it won't be a full house. Any info?
cb at sea Posted March 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2008 It'll be a "full house"--count on it! Holiday cruises are really popular!
Janet524 Posted March 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2008 It's a "full house" on almost every cruise all the time - regardless of whether it's a holiday or not. I wouldn't be concerned, though. The ship is plenty big enough for everybody! Enjoy!
pmfan Posted March 17, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Expect a full house with many families. [school break]
ssantow Posted March 17, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 17, 2008 You should expect in the neighborhood 3,838 passengers. Plus one crew member for every 3.6 passengers.
Marysunshine Posted March 18, 2008 Author #6 Share Posted March 18, 2008 First, thank you all for the info. Secondly, you can tell how old I am....I remember when the crews were 1 crew member for every 2 passengers. What a change!!!
Apoggi Posted March 18, 2008 #7 Share Posted March 18, 2008 You will have a blast. I have never done a holiday sailing because they are always more expensive but almost every ship we have cruised on has been at it's limit and we have never felt crowded - only at the end when everyone tries to get off the ship first.
