Should I be sad or happy?

I think it is great that RCCL has always updated their ships to meet the expectations of the cruising industry. But I really don't know how to feel about ENCHANTMENT getting streched. I'm sure it will be fine when it is all said and done. But I really, really like this ship the way it is. Have already been on her twice and looking at a third trip I love it. My real concern lies in the room. It seems from the reports that there will be considerable staterooms added. I know they are adding pubic areas but that will do nothing for the Theater. Which is already full on her now. As well as the casino, and the Lounge. I am so anxious to see pictures when it is complete. My boohoo is over.

Don't be sad...don't be happy. Check everything out. If it works for you go for it. If you have a problem with something gather info then decide.

 

But just remember....don't sweat the small stuff. mems

Having sailed on Song of Norway which was the first ship to be stretched, you will not be able to tell where the new piece went in after it is done.:)

I love this ship too and have a cruise scheduled prior to the lengthening. I was disheartened to hear of the change as I like the size and the current layout of the ship. My only experienced with a ship that has been lengthened was the OLD Westerdam at HAL. It disrupted the flow of the ship--sort of a "you can't get there from here" story. I hope this one is better thought out.

Clarksfan............when in doubt, be happy FOR ME. She's sailing out of Philadelphia after the stretch and I am going to be on her! I can get dropped off right at the pier FOR FREE. No flights, no hotels, no tolls, no parking, not even a cab. YIPPEE!
