Hello,

Does anyone know the latest we can stay on the ship the morning of arrival into Tampa? We don't have to be at the airport until 2pm and would like to stay on the ship as long as possible. Any info you have would be great. Thank you.

It's all relative. It will take approximately 3 - 4 hours from docking time to clear the entire ship. If you decide to not leave when your color/number is called, then you can stay on until you're asked to leave. Have never stayed that long, but there have been previous posts from those that have.

Just remember how anxious/impatient you were to board...? Well, they can't start boarding any passengers for the next cruise until all of the passengers from the previous cruise are off the ship. And you will need to have all of your luggage out of your cabin...EM

You can stay until they drag you off kicking and screaming:p

You will need to leave your stateroom fairly early, but can remain on the ship until the last call. We have been the last passengers off the ship before and it was only about 9:30 or 9:45, so it will not be very late. We like to wait on the lido deck by the pool. They will close down the buffet long before the last call, so don't plan on a late breakfast.

On the Destiny a couple of weeks ago we talked to the assistant cruise director, because we also had a later flight out of San Juan. He said it was okay for us to collect our luggage out of our cabin and just relax on Lido for a while. We waited until just after the last group was called for departure and we just strolled out, caught a cab, and checked right in at the airport. It was a breeze. Pretty cool, too, having the ship almost to ourselves for just a little bit.

Man- what was the issue with the crew in February? Sounds like you had issues with them?! Thanks.

it was like the entire crew of the ship was on vacation that week and the just hired a bunch of new people. the ship was awesome. other then that, no go. read some reviews. mine is on there. I will sail again. I had a good time with the group. but we all had our problems with things.
