Pull Down Beds

A group of us are travelling on the Freedom and four of our sons will be sharing an interior room. The room has two twin beds and two pull down beds. I spent some time with two very helpful RCCL vacation planners who checked on the beds and assure me that the boys will fit. All the boys are at least 6 feet tall and they play football, so they're not small. Weight wise they will be OK, but will they fit? Will they be miserable?

As long as they "fit", they won't be miserable! Teens have a remarkable ability to sleep anywhere! They'll be fine!

They are the size of a twin bed. They will be fine. Many grown adults have commented here on the boards how comfy they are.

The uppers are about the size of a twin bed. I attached a photo of one for you.

Here is a picture of two beds down. It's an inside cabin on Explorer. Don't mind the monkeys -- they are there only one night!!:p

I've slept on the upper bunk our last two cruises - not bad at all.

 

Just be wary of bending over then standing up head first into the corner though!! Last year the corners were proper 90 degree corners not rounded off or anything, I still have the dint on the top of my head!
