New TV

I read from some of the forum participants that O is installing new TVs. Has anyone been on O recently? Do they have large LCD in the PH cabins? We love to bring our own foreign movies and watch them after a delicious dinner.

We got off the Regatta on Mar 22 and the lower level cabins had them installed in the past month but I think the A+ cabin had them during the refit last year.

 

I am sure they would have done the Suites & PH first.

We were on the Regatta with LHT28......Hi Lynne!

 

The Penthouses already had TV's with DVD players built in, so they have not been replaced with LCD sets yet.

 

There was also some conjecture that Oceania would want to hang the Penthouse TV's on the wall (as they are in the owners and Vista Suites), rather than use the existing TV cabinet "cubby" (which is where the TV's are in a Standard Cabin). This would require some "behind the walls" electric work, and, if that is the plan it probably wont happen until the next drydock (which is March of '09).

The existing TV's look to be about a 20 inch,
