looks like you are under the Odysey Bar. You might get chair scraping noise- but this class ship is very good with sound insulation-

Check out the disco-- you dont hear it at all until you go through the revolving doors.. stand outside the disco on the Riveria deck-- you hear nothing

I was in 7192 - down one deck and just a few cabins aft.

You'll hear the pool band if you're sitting out on your balcony during the day. For me, that's not a good thing (I like reggae but I hate bad reggae and that's all the pool bands are, imho). I also heard lots of LOUD scraping, but I think that was from other people on their balcony, not from the Lido deck. But with you're being directly under the pool area, you may get some of that.

While in your cabin, I doubt you'll hear anything. Yes, the soundproofing is very good on the Miracle.

Enjoy your cruise! She's a lovely ship! If George is still at the omelette/deli station, be sure to visit him. Best omelettes ever!

we were just in 8161 and had no problems. In the afternoon, if you were in your room, you could hear chair scraping above you. We didn't have any problems at night or in the morning - heard nothing. Usually by the time we get to our cabins at night we are tired and ready to sleep. Enjoy!
