Alaska 2009 on Celebrity?

Would appreciate any info from Celebrity cruisers on Celebrity Land Tour and

Cruise. We are looking at Aug.'09 on the Millie. Reading on Alaska Board

that many say that Celebrity is not the cruise line they would use in Alaska

as it has problems with pods. They are late getting to ports etc.

What info can you tell me if you have sailed Celebrity in Alaska?

Texkan, We did a Celebrity 13 days land tour cruise in 04. It was the best trip and cruise we have ever taken. We had a great and positive experience with celebrity. We never had a bad experience with the ship comming late into ports or anything else for that matter. I will be happy to answer any specific questions you may have. Edna

What Celebrity Ship did you sail in Alaska? We are looking at Millie 11 day

land tour and cruise (south bound).

We were on the Summit also south bound. We were looking forward to sailing on the Millie this summer to the med, but they took Millie to Alaska this year. So we will be sailing on the Summit again.
