Can you tell us if there were any midnight buffets?

Did you make it to CocoCay?

Please let us know what (if any) excursions you did.

What time did you check in?

Hope you had a wonderful cruise!! Look forward to a review :)

rdlouhy: Our captain was Shawn McDuff--he is from Canada. The cruise director was Jimmy Rhodes.

lauren0309: No--I do not have copies of the menus and I cannot recall any specific meals--they offered steak (which I had when we ate in the dining room), chicken and seafood dishes. They were okay.

Kingsgirl:

1. There was one midnight buffet on the second night (just after we left Nassau)

2. Yes, we made it to Coco Cay--the weather was terrific.

3. We did not go on any shore excursions--we had been on the cruise before, so we knew what we really wanted to see at each port this time around. In Nassau, we took a water taxi to Paradise Island and walked around Atlantis, visited the One and Only Ocean Club (which was beyond gorgeous) as well the Cloisters and the Versailles Gardens. We also visited Senior Frogs after we finished with Formal Night. In Coco Cay, we just laid out and ate lunch. In Key West, we bought our own tickets for the Old Town Trolley (which allowed us to stop at different locations--the one you book through the cruise ship does not allow any stops). We also visited Hemingway House, the Southernmost Point, The Southernmost Museum and Hotel and we ate on the harbor at the Conch Republic.

4. We checked in at 12:30 p.m.--which I will write about in my review. The wait to get checked in and on the ship was ridiculously long.

5.

I posted our review of the Majesty of the Seas. I hope it offers some good info!

I just finished reading your review, other than the long wait to embark, it seems that you had a nice cruise. I didn't realize there was a refigerator in the SO cabins where is it located in the cabin?

Can you tell me where you purchased your tickets for the Trolley? I am looking at this also but noticed that they didn't say you could jump on/off of it like they do on some websites. I was concerned though that some of the websites I was looking to purchase through just have you print off a ticket? I'd really like to know who you used for this since you did it successfully!!

Thanks for the reply :)

We were surprised to see a refrigerator in the room as well! It is located next to the desk on the left side. The had cans of soda as well as bottled water in it.

As far as the Old Town trolley, we purchased it at their main station area in Mallory Square. It is just down the street from where the ship was docked. You can also purchase the tickets on-line via the Old Town Trolley web-site. They offer a discounted rate on their web-site. It was worth the price of the ticket, as it offered a tour of the entire island--with the ability to get off at any of the stops. The tour conductors were very knowledgeable and we learned a great deal about the island and its extensive history.

I was also on this cruise. This was the first cruise for me and my 3 girlfriends and we had a WONDERFUL time.We didn't do any excursions thru the cruise line. In Nassau we took an independant tour.It was suppose to be for 2 hours and ended up 4 and the driver was so nice and didn't charge any additional money. We toured the straw market.

In Cococay we walked the beach, ate and ran from the birds!!!

In Key west we took the Old town trolley tour, ate fresh seafood and to much key lime pie.

If you happened to be at karoke on Thursday night, my frined Regenia is the one who song gladys knight

It was a year ago, but we had a midnight buffet on the pool deck. My most memorabe excursion was the Segway excursion in Nassau. If you have never done one before, it probably wouldn't be as fun, but we loved it.

I can't seem to find your review. I was also on that cruise and would love to read your take on it. I noticed you mentioned problems at check-in. Ditto! Overall we had a great time. I was with a group of 25 people.

Weather was perfect. Staff was super! I got sick the first night and my room steward went above and beyond. The CD Jimmy was great and we certainly enjoyed the night we played Quest ;) .

Thanks for the Trolley Tour information. This is the same tour that I found on-line directly through the Trusted Tours and Attractions website. It's good to have a confirmation from someone who's "been there and done that"!!

Doing a 3 day at the end of the month.....hmmm that sounds funny. Anyway, did they kick you off the ship at the break of dawn? DH does NOT do mornings well (works in a casino) and I was hoping to be able to sit on deck until 10 or 10:30 (maybe even have one last bloody mary before home to the kiddies) Our flight leaves FLL at 2pm.

PS If we can stay on board are the RCCL shuttles still running or do we have to take a cab? Thanks for any info!
