myangel Posted October 1, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2004 I understand that Carnival uses the same menu throughout the fleet, but does any one know when they change them?
Cotton Posted October 1, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2004 :D "If it ain't broke, don't fix it.":D Since the current menus seem to be working, I doubt any major menu changes will take place in the foreseeable future. I've noticed small things, like additional spa selections, but I think the menus are good, varied, and something for everyone each meal.
tef43 Posted October 1, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2004 I understand that Carnival uses the same menu throughout the fleet, but does any one know when they change them? There were selections this year that I recall seeing on the menu in 1983. Nowadays, the menu is much more varied, with the "spa" and "low-carb" (blasphemy!) selections, but mny of the old favorites remain.
L2J Posted October 1, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2004 I've checked out several of the menus and to be honest the surf and turf is kind of boring. The need to have some different kinds of meat.
SevenVII Posted October 1, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 1, 2004 The need to have some different kinds of meat. And Tofu doesnt count!
L2J Posted October 1, 2004 #6 Share Posted October 1, 2004 And Tofu doesnt count! No LOL. I was talking something a little more exotic (for lack of a better word) than Bessie or Foghorn Leghorn.
MAO Posted October 1, 2004 #7 Share Posted October 1, 2004 I have to say I agree with livtojump, there needs to be some changes for those of us who cruise frequently and definately tofu does NOT count:p
L2J Posted October 1, 2004 #8 Share Posted October 1, 2004 Thanks MAO. I'm thinking along the lines of Buffalo, Bambi, Peter Rabbit, Kermit etc.....YUM.
judithdh1 Posted October 1, 2004 #9 Share Posted October 1, 2004 So the menu is the same on all the Carnival ships? Judi Hensley
serene56 Posted October 1, 2004 #10 Share Posted October 1, 2004 The menu is the same with every ship. Even Royal has the same menu across the fleet. I see the same menu being offered today as it was back in 2000. With a few added on stuff.
jgmpuma Posted October 1, 2004 #11 Share Posted October 1, 2004 If the Carnival food gets too boring, we can always bring our crock pots/bbq grills, etc. and do our own cooking.

pholter Posted October 1, 2004 #13 Share Posted October 1, 2004 Yep, the menus stay the same for the most part. I'm excited this year about the new low carb selections including breads though :) I, too would love to see buffalo on the menu- it's very tasty and VERY low in fat.
