Rome "made to measure" tours?

Has anyone used this tour company? they feature center city rome tours by Vesba, Golf Cart or vintage fiats for people who cannot walk miles at a time. They seem a bit more reasonable for 2 people than the private limo tours.

 

Any other ideas?

It's funny I found this thread on google when I searched for Rome Made To Measure's website. I found out about them from Stuard T Clarkes website - he highly recommends them - although I admit I have no idea who Stuard is lol. http://www.stuardtclarkesrome.com/General.html

 

With the US dollar falling, it's just too much to pay $700+ (500E+) for a private tour of Rome (for us). This looks like it could be a lot of fun and if I find out any more info on them, I'll post it here. :)

While riding a Vespa might sound like fun in theory, I'm not sure I'd recommend it from a safety standpoint having dealt with Rome traffic! :eek:

I have not heard of them,but I just had to say trying to get around city center Rome in a golf cart would scare the pants off me:D :D Vespa's would be another one too,but the vintage Fiats would be interesting as long as someone else was driving....unless of course they do not go on the roadway's.

I would only do it with a driver and a fiat! :D
