Lizard© Posted April 12, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2008 Anyone know what the weather is like end of August and into September around Vila, Isles of Pines. I'm thinking nice and mild to warm maybe. Thinking of what to pack to wear. Got a few bits but really should think about the rest while the sales are still on around the place.
icemaiden2310 Posted April 12, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2008 Hi ! I spent 2 weeks in vila in september and it was hot! Icy
Ela 2 Posted April 12, 2008 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2008 Isle of Pines is similar latitude to Rockhampton, and Vila is similar to Townsville. I think you can expect mid 20s at Isle of Pines and high 20s in Vila. Should be very pleasant. :)

Skyrules Posted April 13, 2008 #5 Share Posted April 13, 2008 We went to Noumea, Lifou & Vila in September last year and the weather was lovely, although wet and humid in Vila - but then again isn't it always??
Rare arxcards Posted April 13, 2008 #6 Share Posted April 13, 2008 My guess is that you will need your jackets the most for your Adelaide to Sydney transfer, and for the nights at sea heading to the Islands. At least needing to wear them will save on packing space. Weather in the Islands will be similar to North Qld, usually warm - especially compared to a southern winter.
