Bucket of Beer

Interesting.... with the DOZENS of buckets we have purchased on SEVERAL cruises we have only received FOUR beers... I guess we have been getting shortchanged.... lol

We take our own bucket with us - we got it at walmart... nice purple "beach bucket" with a handle. The handle makes it much easier to lug around to the shows and casino, otherwise that thing can get pretty COLD and WET... also, we can pack more ice in there, and an extra beer - so all stays COLD much longer!:D

(you can spot us on the ship, we will have our bucket, complete with vacation/destination stickers on it... much like a well traveled suitcase!)

...COME ON THANKSGIVING.... ready to GIVE THANKS... LOL

Great idea Tom and Cheryl. I will be buying my bucket soon. And there are 4 beers in a bucket. It usually ends up costing about $12.50 a bucket with tip, depending on what you drink, making it cheaper than most bars I go to per drink. People always complain about booze prices on the ship and I find them to be very fair. They are the same price as any restaurant and most bars. And the tip is included. I will agree that the drinks can really add up over a week of not really paying attention and reaching for you card, but per drink, they are really reasonable. Thanks again for the bucket idea. LOVE IT!!!!!!!! :)
you buy 4 beers get one free. depends on the brand of beer as to what it cost.

So, 5 beers in a bucket. ITs nice cause they stay real cold in the ice
Four in a bucket on Carnival. I think it's RCI that gives you five in a bucket. We ordered Corona that way, but they had to pour them in plastic cups because they didn't want bottles by the pool. It's fine if you drink them fast enough, but if it's hot and the ice melts your beer turns over! (Only had that problem ONCE though.) :D
