tef43 Posted October 3, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 3, 2004 are there any? priorty embarkation? or anything special that comes with a suite? :confused:Skippers Club is, depending on the port, either priority embarkation or just priority check-in. Concierge, butler, expanded cabin service menu, etc, as suite perks on other lines, are non-existant on Carnival.
mohavemommy Posted October 3, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 3, 2004 another suite perk .... whirlpool bathtub :) ... not just a small shower :)
seajan Posted October 4, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 4, 2004 don't forget the bidet in the extra large bathroom (in comparison to other cabins) and lots of storage space, plus much longer balcony.
frito58 Posted October 4, 2004 #6 Share Posted October 4, 2004 Really big room with lots of space. I highly recomend them, we were on the Triumph this past Nov. and the suite was well worth the money
Cruising89143 Posted October 4, 2004 #7 Share Posted October 4, 2004 The Skippers Club which is used for Priority boarding and check-in varies by port and by day. I have found it to be non existant in Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. Pt. Canaveral was great both times there. The tubs do have a whirlpool but they are not large tubs by any means. The extra space is nice.
katavenger Posted October 4, 2004 #8 Share Posted October 4, 2004 On our first cruise, we went all out....biggest room, balcony, etc, and just happened to have a dinner table by a window. On our 2nd and 3rd cruises, we got inside cabins, whatever was the cheapest and subsequently had dinner tables in the middle of the dinning room, nowhere near a window. It didn't matter to us, because we were hardly in our room and were in the dining room to eat, not necessarily to watch the ocean go by. The cabin stewards and waiters were all the same to us, polite and helpful every time! Maybe it was a coincidence that the larger the stateroom, the closer the dining table was to a window, but that's what it seemed like to us.
