ally&tommysmom Posted April 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2008 Are Princess excursions refundable if you cancel at any time? Next week's forcast is scattered showers and thunderstorms in St. Maarten and St. Thomas. What happens if it rains - i would assume that safety is an issue and they would cancel excursions. If this happens. Is there a policy regarding refunds? Thanks!
chrysalis Posted April 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 17, 2008 generally you can cancel your excursions up to 24 hours in advance....and if they are cancelled by Princess for safety or other reasons, yes, you get your full amount back. Rain may not be enough to cancel, depending on the excursion.
Toto2Kansas Posted April 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted April 17, 2008 If Princess cancels the shore excursion, they will refund the money charged to your shipboard account. But depending on the excursion, rarely are they cancelled on account of rain unless it is something that would put the passengers in danger. We have taken many excursions when the weather isn't perfect, if we are a no show, then no refund is given. But as said, there is usually a cancellation period posted in the Princess Patter which reflects the time you can cancel and receive a full refund.
