Mazatlan Stone Island Tours

We are interested in taking the Mazatlan Stone Island tour, from Diamond Princess in November. Was wondering if anyone had done this before, I am a little worried about taking aexcursion not offered by Princess. It appears to be a reputable company, but wondered if anyone had any previous experience with them. Is a five hour tour, with catamaran boat ride, and beach activities. Any info would be helpful!

i just came back from the Mexican Riviera cruise a couple weeks back. i had booked a stone island tour with King David's. unfortunately, there was an itinerary change because of the Hurricane Ivan. I had emailed him about the change, but did not check for a response. Much to my surpise the company knew about it and he was there at the port waiting for my party with a sign and all. unfortunately we had made other plans and had to cancel on him.

We used this company and they came highly recommended to us by other cruisers. http://www.mazatlan.com.mx/stoneisladtour/homepage.htm And you can't beat the price. About 1/2 of what Princess charges.

Has anyone gone specifically on the one offered through the Princess excursions? I'm a little confused, there seem to be many operators in Mazatlan, which is fine, but I was wondering about the one offered through the Princess cruiseline?:)
