1tonysmom Posted October 4, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2004 What ship are you cruising on? We have a 6A booked on the Glory and I think those cabins are great. 220 sf, nice big window. Best of all, great price. I don't mind walking a little farther to the pool and buffet. It is also faster getting from your cabin to the gangway for getting off the ship in port and you are the first to get back to your cabin. Hope this helps. Happy cruising. Bunkie103 Posted October 4, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 4, 2004 ANY cabin is a good one if it's booked in MY name! :D
ginag Posted October 4, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 4, 2004 :) We certainly enjoyed our 6A on the Celebration. Nice and quite. Took a little longer to get to other decks, but that was okay. No sewer smells either!
Perrys100 Posted October 4, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 4, 2004 The ocean view cabins are a cool upgrade from the Inside cabins. However NEVER NEVER book a balcony cabin (just kidding). Because you will want one everytime you cruise. We can not bring ourselves to book anything less.
cls624 Posted October 6, 2004 #6 Share Posted October 6, 2004 My husband, daughter and I had a 6A cabin on the Carnival Victory in 2002. That was our first cruise. We are going on another cruise in May of 2005. We were going to get an 8A balcony cabin, but decided to bring my daughters friend. So to get away cheaper, we got a 1A inside cabin with bunks, for the girls, and a 6A for my husband and myself again. We had a good view from the window. If my husband and I ever go by ourselves, I would definitely get a balcony cabin.
serene56 Posted October 6, 2004 #7 Share Posted October 6, 2004 I have my first 6A on the Legend in a few weeks. I had insides (with 5 people) and mostly balconies on the aft. Im hoping I can be satisfied with a window that dont open for this cruise.. ya think I will be claustrophobic after balconies??
cls624 Posted October 7, 2004 #8 Share Posted October 7, 2004 It might be different after having a balcony, but the window is pretty big! It lets alot of light in. I guess you will just have to go on deck to get some air.
