What ship are you cruising on? We have a 6A booked on the Glory and I think those cabins are great. 220 sf, nice big window. Best of all, great price. I don't mind walking a little farther to the pool and buffet. It is also faster getting from your cabin to the gangway for getting off the ship in port and you are the first to get back to your cabin. Hope this helps. Happy cruising.

My husband, daughter and I had a 6A cabin on the Carnival Victory in 2002.

That was our first cruise. We are going on another cruise in May of 2005.

We were going to get an 8A balcony cabin, but decided to bring my daughters friend. So to get away cheaper, we got a 1A inside cabin with bunks, for the girls, and a 6A for my husband and myself again. We had a good view from the window.

If my husband and I ever go by ourselves, I would definitely get a balcony cabin.

I have my first 6A on the Legend in a few weeks. I had insides (with 5 people) and mostly balconies on the aft. Im hoping I can be satisfied with a window that dont open for this cruise.. ya think I will be claustrophobic after balconies??
