When leaving out of Cape Liberty, NJ, what deck do you enter on the Explorer Of the Seas?

If memory serves me correct I believe it was deck 2. If this is not correct I am sure someone will advise of the correct deck. Reading the post below it just might be 1.

Not being a smart aleck; you enter at ground level, whichever deck is level with the dock. It's the same one you disembark from at each port. It's either one or 2; I think it's 2.

You enter on Deck 1.

My first thought was deck 2. But maybe that is the deck you enter at some of the ports.

 

I distinctly remember disembarking from Deck 1 because we had self disembarkation and the elevator took us to deck 2 and then we had to carry our luggage down a flight of steps.

 

Just curious - why is this important?

When we were on it was deck 1 for embarkation & disembarkation. Deck 2 when in port.

It's actually deck 1 for all ports on the 9 nighter out of Bayonne.
