EOS...........sad news

For those of you that remember Jack Williams.......who brought RCCL into the 20th century......with employee progams that made sense.........and then left to work on his favorite charity.

 

And then he was asked to run an airline..........which we have flown.....and loved............and today..........

 

It has filed for bankruptcy!!

 

EOS...............just 48 seats on a Boeing 757.........what a great ride from New York to London.

 

Jack..............you will be around somewhere!!

 

EOS.........we will miss you!!

With the troubles on Wall Street, just shows that no airline service, even one at aimed at the very high-end marketplace as EOS was, is safe.

EOS was known as a "boutique" carrier. An all first class product between New York and London aimed at passengers who had the income to afford the space required. Very limited seat in a remodeled 757 with all flat / lay down seats. With the troubles in the financial sector here in the US, a product without a market for the times.

EOS is a very good digital camera made by Canon.:D

However some of the european model EOS are named DIGITAL REBEL in the north american market. But its still the same camera.

 

Or... or... how can a camera file for bancrupcy :p

Speaking for myself, "Just goes to show that we people of the modest class are out of touch with that kind of news". :D

I won't miss that airline because I would never be able to fly it anyway. :rolleyes:
