ANY WAY TO TELL WHICH SEATS ARE AVAILABLE ON US AIR FLIGHTS?

Recommended Posts

Is there a site that will tell you what seats are available on a certain U.S. Air flight? I'm flying to Ft Lauderdale with my son for our cruise and they tell we'll have to be separated due to no side by side seats left.

Thanks,

Pattie

I'd keep calling and ask. US Air as well as other lines keep about 30% of their seats unassigned until boarding. You should have no problem getting saets together if you get to the airport early.

Delta's Frequent Flyer members can get, on-line, a chart showing which seats are reserved and which ones are available. One can reserve available seats in that manner. I use it all the time since my wife and I cannot walk very well and want seats near the entrances. You do need the flight number etc. as I found out when I let my TA book my upcoming trip via RCCL.

Thanks to all for the great advise. I got the two seats together on both flights, only one is in a bad location; BUT we're sitting together and that was the main problem. One more reason I LOVE this board,

Glad your situation is resolved. Just as an FYI, US Airways has always been great about helping out in this situation. My family & I always fly with the kids and most times show up at the airport to get seats all over the plane. At the gate, the agents have always managed to resolve this for us and help us out!
