cod Posted April 29, 2008 #101 Share Posted April 29, 2008 Perhaps there are some good deals out of Florida because of the number of sailings but - of late - the fares for the Fantasy and the Holiday (the two ports we can drive to easily) are unreal! May is birthday and anniversary month for us and a short cruise again this year at this time would be nice but the rates are more than double (by a lot!) over what we paid last year. As of now we are booked on the 7 night NCL Spirit out of NO for December for several hundred dollars less than a Carnival 4 night is running right now! Our last cruise was in September and this will be the longest time between cruises since our first one 10 years ago! (boo-hoo)

SunnieC Posted April 29, 2008 #103 Share Posted April 29, 2008 Things ARE tight this year! So we decided to bypass the family cruise this year. Instead, I am sacrificing being with my wonderful family.......................................... and going on a cruise with my sister instead!:D It SOOO much cheaper without the husband and kids! We all have to make changes due to the economy....sigh

What is a stimilus check? Basic Information on the Stimulus Payments Updated April 17, 2008 You've heard about it. Now find out how to get yours. What is it? It's an economic stimulus payment that more than 130 million households will receive starting in May. It's not taxable, and it won't reduce your 2007 or 2008 refund or increase the amount you owe when you file your 2008 return.
