How warm to dress for upcoming cruise?

We are going to be on a 4 day Mexico/California cruise next week and am wondering what clothes to bring. Do you guys think it will be warm enough to wear short and flip flops or should we still plan on pants and tennis shoes?

It will definitely be warm enough for the shorts and flip flops. But...bring one pair of khakis and tennis shoes, too...just in case.

We did that cruise (see history) couple of years ago in JUNE...:cool: Normally cruise the Caribbean.

Thought it would be nice and warm in "Southern Cal"

BUT.....

Temps at night were in the high 50's to Mid 60's, and during the day they were as low as 70's and highest in Ensenada was 85. Never got in the water because it was too cold.

The Pacific coast NEVER gets warm water like the Caribbean or East Coast! Bring a little bit of everything! (Leave the wool coats home, but bring early "spring" attire!)
