Greengo Posted May 5, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2008 Has anyone taken the TP cruise from Dover to Stockholm? We are seriously looking at booking for May 2009. Question: is it worthwhile spending the extra money on a minisuite or Balcony cabin in the north Atlantic? We sailed on the TP in 2004 in Tahiti and enjoyed the veranda of our minisuite, but are wondering whether, because of the colder temperature, we would use the veranda. I would appreciate any information about the trip. Thanks.:)
paul929207 Posted May 5, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2008 I think the TP is venturing out of the Pacific Ocean for the first time. You may want to ask your question on the port of call board to get an idea of the weather to expect. When we were in the Baltic it was generally cool for sitting outside. Spikesgirl Posted May 5, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2008 Paul is correct in that the Tahitian Princess has been sailing around in the South Pacific since Princess added her to the fleet back in the early 2000's. You would be charting unsailed waters (as it were) with this cruise. However, I'm sure the TP would be up to the task. She'll be the Ocean Princess by then. ITravelOnWater Posted May 9, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 9, 2008 Yes the ship is sailing in the NA area in May 09 just off the around the world cruise than ends in England. So this was an extrensions that could be added to the ATW cruise. I'm on that one. this is the only reason I know. :) Mr. Bill
