JSeals4316 Posted May 5, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2008 What is the earliest that you can board the Freedom in Miami?
cb at sea Posted May 6, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2008 Just like the other ships, try to be there around 11:30--you should be able to board right away, or very shortly thereafter!
rstout Posted May 6, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 6, 2008 Last week, we arrived at the port around 10:30-10:45. We got onboard around 11:30. If you do arrive early and have to wait to board, they will hand out boarding group tickets. Make sure you let them know if you are a Crown and Anchor member - even Gold members will be let on in the priority boarding group.
rcprncss Posted May 6, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2008 We sailed last week-April 27th. We got to the port a few minutes after noon. We dropped off our luggage and headed to check in. When we got to our line, deck 8, there were only 2 groups in front of us. I think this was the fastest check in so far. We were on the ship about 1240. So I would say it only took about 30 minutes or so. We couldn't get into our room until 1pm. There were workers guarding the entrance of the hallways telling us the rooms weren't ready yet. We have never got on the ship that early so we have never experienced that before.
exarolf Posted May 6, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 6, 2008 When we boarded (we are gold) they handed out tickets (boarding groups). We had to wait like 15 groups. When we went through, they looked at the gold on our SS, and said we could have boarded earlier - just FYI - don't wait because everyone else is... This would have saved us 40 minutes... On our cruise, we could've been on board around 11.30.....
