moakes Posted May 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2008 Can you use the leftover coupons that you didn't get to use on a previous cruise on a future one? I have a bunch of matchplay coupons that I didn't get to use and want to use them on our upcoming trips.
JJ2sail Posted May 7, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2008 Yes, you can. But I don't bring a 14 night coupon book on a 3 night cruise, not sure if that would work? I always have leftover coupons on the 3 night cruises, and I will bring them along on the next one.
maria1122 Posted May 7, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2008 We cruised in February and again in April. We used some of the coupons from the Feb. cruise.
jules815 Posted May 7, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 7, 2008 I'm glad someone posted this question. I was just going through my backpack yesterday and found my C&A coupon book from our Mariner western cruise last June. We're going on Mariner again next month (:D), eastern this time, and I was wondering if I could still use the coupons.
Emi's Mom Posted May 7, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 7, 2008 I've never had a problem using them from one cruise to another. Now the problem might arrise if you're a gold C&A member and you try to use a diamond coupon!
moakes Posted May 7, 2008 Author #6 Share Posted May 7, 2008 That's good to know... We never finish our books - just can't get round to everything! I even have a 2 for 1 bar credit - not sure how I didn't use that!

Now the problem might arrise if you're a gold C&A member and you try to use a diamond coupon! I won't say this is true of all ships, but .... I am platinum and the couple at my dinner table on my Grandeur cruise was Diamond plus, and they had a coupon for free internet service that they weren't going to use ... so they gave it to me, and I used it without a problem. Don Pedro Posted May 7, 2008 #11 Share Posted May 7, 2008 We are not sure if coupons from your last years cruise will still be accepted. Periodically, they issue a new version of the coupon booklet. The last version number booklet we received was version 11. Last year I think they were on version 7. The version number is displayed on each coupon. We know that when it comes to someone using a coupon from a higher category booklet that some areas of the ship are more picky than others. Sometimes they will match the coupon status to that reflected on the person's seapass card.
PudgiPoo Posted May 7, 2008 #12 Share Posted May 7, 2008 I always leave my books in my room. I put it in a drawer and figure if the clearing crew doesn't get it the next person in my room will.
amickeyfriend Posted May 7, 2008 #13 Share Posted May 7, 2008 I am a Diamond +. I was not allowed to use my husband's coupon for a photo. He had to be present with his seapass card to get the free photo. It all depends on the ship if they will let you use a coupon.
land lover Posted May 7, 2008 #14 Share Posted May 7, 2008 As far a the match play, they have never checked my card, I have used old Platinum coupons when I was Diamond(this was within a year and it was the same version) when we went with our teens I used theirs, no problem........in the casino I really don't think they care;) Now using the free photos, or buy one get one they can get picky, some ships want to see everyone's card others just used my card. cruisnpat Posted May 8, 2008 #15 Share Posted May 8, 2008 We always keep our books and have used some of the coupons on another sailing.
OleMissMom Posted May 8, 2008 #16 Share Posted May 8, 2008 I think it depends on the coupon. We have never been asked for our seapass card for matchplay, etc but when we got the free photo they asked to see our seapass.
pmfan Posted May 8, 2008 #17 Share Posted May 8, 2008 I think a lot of the times it just depends on the ship/crew.
