roe2ship Posted October 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 6, 2004 Are both of these open breakfast, lunch and dinner? Is Seaview Cafe open after midnight? Which do you prefer better?
Travelgrrl Posted October 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 6, 2004 Seaview Cafe has limited hours and a limited menu - for sure not breakfast. After midnight, you're probably best off with room service? They do go around lounges and other public areas with hors d'oerves at midnight. antomoli Posted October 6, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 6, 2004 Widjammer is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is not open after midnight.
bananarama Posted October 6, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 6, 2004 The seaview cafe has to be one of the best places to have a nice lunch or snack, even a pre-dinner but it is never opened for breakfast. The Seaview stays open until 2:00am. I prefer it to the windjammer by far. It's unlimited and has a far better selection. burgers, salads, and sandwiches, nachos, fish n chips. It's sooo good! Do not miss iy!
FamilyMan Posted October 7, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 7, 2004 Is there a Seaview Cafe on the Mariner of the Seas? If so, which deck is it located on?
roe2ship Posted October 7, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted October 7, 2004 The Seaview Cafes are on the Radiance class ships not the Voyager class.
iswimlikearock Posted October 7, 2004 #7 Share Posted October 7, 2004 the seaview cafe has excellent chicken fingers and we have had the best customer service in there. we visted a few times and the staff knew our names by mid cruise
JMG Posted October 7, 2004 #8 Share Posted October 7, 2004 The outdoor seating at the Seaview Cafe was great. If we did get our breakfast at the Windjammer, we would go up the stairs to the Seaview seating and have a quiet peaceful breakfast. Meals at Seaview Cafe were great! dougp26364 Posted October 7, 2004 #9 Share Posted October 7, 2004 Is there a Seaview Cafe on the Mariner of the Seas? If so, which deck is it located on? Voyager class ships have an Island grill. At least that's what's on the explorer. I'm not sure if it's similar or not.
Firefighterhoop Posted October 11, 2004 #10 Share Posted October 11, 2004 The seaview cafe would be more like the Johnny ROckets on the ship, not the Island Grill/Windjammer area. On the Radiance Class, that part is ALL windjammer with outdoor seating. Seaview cafe was open until 2am on both the Radiance and the Brilliance, and it opened around 11am. Ocean Boy Posted October 11, 2004 #11 Share Posted October 11, 2004 Maybe they should get rid of Johnny Rocket's on the Voyager ships and put a Seaview Cafe in its place.
bUU Posted October 11, 2004 #12 Share Posted October 11, 2004 I wonder which way that relationship goes. At Walt Disney World, generally-speaking, McDonalds pays for the privilege of having Disney sell McDonald's french fries in Frontierland and Dino-land. I wonder if RCI's relationship with Johnny Rockets is the same. For that matter, I wonder if RCI worked to attract Seattle's Best Coffee to their ships, or rather Seattle's Best Coffee jumped at the opportunity to paste its logo over a venue on RCI cruise ships.
